I attended the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting and listened again to the arguments for and against the city enacting regulations governing "Guest Houses". A dispute in a neighborhood on Sayles Boulevard has caused the P and Z to spend many hours spread over several meetings listening and discussing these establishments. Attention....if you own property on Pine Street you will want to attend the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting Monday July 6th at 1:30 p.m. P&Z will be discussing and possibly recommending to the City Council to rezone property and apply the "Pine Street Corridor Overlay District" to properties on Pine Street from North 6th to I-20.
