Learn about the Abilene Regional Airport
July 20th is the next regular meeting of the AAIBO Membership and everyone is urged to attend to hear about our airport. Don Green, Airport Manager, will present the program and answer questions about how the airport is run and will tell us about the economic impact it has on our city. Lunch is at noon at the Abilene Country Club (downstairs in the wine room next to the buffet line). Cost is only $12 and you are asked to RSVP to bruce@brokenwillow.com. We hope to have a good number of members and guests to attend and hear this important program. Also, here is a “heads-up” on our speaker for the August 17th meeting….Robert Pratt of the talk radio show “Pratt on Texas” will talk about Texas politics….and more!! If you listen to his radio show on AM1470 at 5p.m. on weekdays you will know whereof I speak. Mark your calender and plan to attend our July and August meetings.
