The Abilene City Council met for about five minutes this morning (7-22-10) and approved four items on the consent agenda. None of the items were discussed since no council member and no citizen requested discussion. Do You Own A Wrecker Service

The Abilene City Council spent over an hour Thursday morning discussing tow truck services in the city of Abilene. They were trying to get information about the business in an attempt to see if an ordinance change is necessary. Its About Jobs

Despite consistent polling showing jobs as the number one issue among voters, it is really only now, after finishing the 15 month effort to reform the health care system, that Congress is expected to focus almost exclusively on jobs and the economy.   Theoretically, the more Congress adheres to a jobs agenda
